BJP candidates reach out to voters

LUDHIANA: District BJP president Ravinder Arora claimed that with its developmental agenda and all-round progress achieved in the state, the SAD-BJP alliance was sure to win the elections for the third time in a succession.

Ludhiana, January 19

District BJP president Ravinder Arora claimed that with its developmental agenda and all-round progress achieved in the state, the SAD-BJP alliance was sure to win the elections for the third time in a succession.

Addressing an election meeting of Gurdev Sharma Debi, party nominee in Ludhiana Central, he said factionalism at all levels in both Congress and AAP would lead to their downfall.

Debi called upon party workers to reach out to voters and apprise them with pro-people policies of the SAD-BJP government in the state and NDA government at the Centre. He sought support of the electorate so that development works in the pipeline or other stages of execution could be completed.

In Ludhiana North segment, traders in commercial hubs of Gur Mandi, Talab Bazar, Bagh Wali Gali and Bagh Khazanchian responded in an overwhelming manner to electioneering by SAD-BJP candidate Parveen Bansal, who was conferred with the title of ‘vikas purush’. Bansal said the SAD-BJP government had always worked for the welfare of traders and members of industrial community.

Kamal Chatly, candidate of the ruling coalition in Ludhiana West segment, said a wave in favour of the SAD-BJP alliance would blow away all opposition parties and the people would once again give a mandate in favour of the alliance candidates to show their approval for the agenda of all-round development.

Addressing party workers at his office on Ferozepur Road, he said the state of Punjab had undergone a sea change during the tenure of the SAD-BJP government and urged voters not to be misled by false promises of the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party.— OC
