DEHRADUN: City Club, Rishikesh, and Stadium Trainees, Dehradun, clinched the Dehradun District Volleyball Tournament in men’s and women’s categories, respectively.

Dehradun, September 19

City Club, Rishikesh, and Stadium Trainees, Dehradun, clinched the Dehradun District Volleyball Tournament in men’s and women’s categories, respectively.

In the women’s category, Stadium Trainees defeated Police Lines Trainees 25-16, 26-24. In the men’s final, City Club beat Brothers Club 26-24, 18-25 and 25-16.

Chief guest Aryendra Sharma, secretary, state Congress committee, gave away prizes to players of the winning teams.

Lalit Gaur, Seva Singh Matharu, Harish Bhatt, Prabhulal Bahuguna and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
