Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat has stressed that school education must also focus on inculcation of sanskaras within children rather than just making education a means to get employment.
He was addressing a convention of Principals Progressive Schools Association in Dehradun today. The Chief Minister said education cannot be limited to getting employment and should rather help inculcate sanskaras among students, which in turn helps develop their personality in a right manner.
Rawat said the education must make one’s mindset positive and should change the thought process for good. He said keeping hope was also very important in order to get success in life.
The Chief Minister also emphasised on the inclusive growth in the sphere of education and called for taking along backward sections of society for their betterment. He stressed on making education more employment oriented. He said focus must be given on professional education.
State school Education’s Director General Captain Alok Shekhar Tiwari disclosed that the state was fast progressing in terms of school education. He apprised that a model school is being development at each block across the state.
Earlier, Principals Progressive Schools Association’s president Prem Kashyap informed the Chief Minister about the activities and the aim of the association. A large number of Principals Progressive Schools Association’s members were present on the occasion.
