Dera killings: SIT holds meeting

MANDI AHMEDGARH: A meeting of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing the February 25 murder of two Dera Sacha Sauda followers, was held here today.

A meeting of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing the February 25 murder of two Dera Sacha Sauda followers, was held here today.

The meeting, convened under the supervision of Jalandhar Range IG LK Yadav, was aimed at reviewing the investigation so far and making a strategy to identify and arrest the accused.

Ludhiana DIG SK Kalia said around two dozen members of the SIT exchanged information and drafted a plan to take the investigation forward.

Kalia said, “This meeting called to review the progress of the investigation, even as team members have been coordinating regularly since the SIT’s constitution and expansion.” — OC
