The Punjab Congress is in a strong position and will form the next government, claimed AICC secretary and observer for Punjab Asha Kumari. She alleged that the people of the state were fed up of the SAD-BJP government’s misrule.

In an interaction with the media here today, Asha Kumari, MLA from Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh, said the incumbent government had ruined Punjab. “Rather than the rule of law, a government-sponsored mafia is ruling the state and controlling all major businesses,” she alleged.

Criticising the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Asha Kumari said the party was known for resorting to gimmicks.

“AAP has absolutely no idea about the religion and culture of Punjab and many of its legislators in Delhi are involved in anti-social and criminal activities,” she alleged, while sounding a word of caution to the people of the state not to be misled by their hollow and meaningless slogans.
