Kurukshetra, February 21
Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki today announced a grant of Rs 1 crore to SMB Gita Senior Secondary School here.
The Governor was here to preside over the annual prize distribution function of the school which is run by Vidya Bharti, an organisation associated with the RSS.
Solanki said the grant would be spent on the construction of school hostel.
The Governor also felicitated meritorious students on the occasion.
