IAS officers shifted

DEHRADUN:The Uttarakhand government on Thursday effected changes in the responsibilities of several senior IAS officers.

Dehradun, July 19

The Uttarakhand government on Thursday effected changes in the responsibilities of several senior IAS officers. Several District Magistrates were transferred while the responsibilities of departments under IAS officers were shuffled. 

Senior IAS officer D Senthil Pandiyan has been divested of the responsibility of Secretary Transport. He will continue to hold the post of Commissioner Transport. 

Principal Secretary Manisha Panwar has been divested of the responsibility of Department of Panchayati Raj. Dr Pankaj Pandey secretary (incharge) will now hold the responsibility of the Department of Panchayati Raj. Pandey has also been divested of the responsibilities of Director General (DG) Information and Secretary (incharge) Technical Education and Training. 

DK Chaudhury, who is Additional Secretary, Department of Urban Development and Mining will be the new DG Information.

Secretary (incharge) Dilip Jawalkar Tourism has been given the additional responsibility of Department of information.

Nitin Badoriya is the new DM of Almora, Surendra Narayan Pandey will be the new DM of Champawat and Swati Badoriya will be the new DM of Chamoli.
