Hoshiarpur, November 30
MLA Shamchurasi Mohinder Kaur Josh today laid the foundation stone of sewerage system and treatment plant for Hariana town under the Urban Mission Punjab Fund. An expenditure of Rs 14.49 crore would be incurred on the project.
Addressing the gathering, she said Hariana residents had been demanding this project and the government had fulfilled their demand and it would be completed soon. Discussing the welfare projects started by the state government, she said under the state government’s initiative for the welfare of people, new free medicine shops had been opened for poor patients in hospitals.
