To promote cashless transaction and spread awareness regarding digital payments, Digi Dhan Mela was organised at Dhalpur here today.

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda was the chief guest and Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti was the special guest. Ayurveda and Cooperative Minister Karan Singh was also present. Nadda said the motive of promoting digital payments was to bring the derailed economy back onto the track. He said 80 per cent of transactions were carried out using cash and effort was being made to formalise the economy. —OC
