Roadways bus overturns, seven injured

AMBALA: Seven passengers were injured when a roadways going to Hisar from Chandigarh overturned near Naggal village on Ambala Hisar Highway today.

Seven passengers were injured when a roadways going to Hisar from Chandigarh overturned near Naggal village on Ambala Hisar Highway today. Four of the injured — Krishan Kumar, Renu Bala and Nirmala of Kaithal, Kulwinder Kaur of Pehowa — were admitted to the Civil Hospital here. Three others were taken to hospital in Ismailabad. The bus driver reportedly lost control over the vehicle while saving a cow on the road. None of the passengers were seriously hurt in the incident. — OC
