The Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board on Thursday approved Rs 20 lakh for research centre on the Saraswati river in Kurukshetra University. The centre would research on scientific and cultural aspects of the river. TNS

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) today asked the ousted contractual data entry operators, who have been protesting here since Tuesday,  to get back to work and promised to reinstate them soon. Power shortage protest

Mundri village residents and BKU activists today staged a protest against power shortage here. Bhura Ram, BKU leader, said Mundri village had been chosen under the Mhara Gaon, Jagmag Gaon scheme, but they were not getting adequate power supply for many weeks.
