Three property dealers booked for fraud

PANIPAT: The police have booked three property dealers for allegedly selling same plots to multiple buyers in the Gangaram colony of the city.

The police have booked three property dealers for allegedly selling same plots to multiple buyers in the Gangaram colony of the city.

A case was registered following complaints by Rani, Sushma, Sangeeta, Shrichand, Girija Devi, Munna, Kamla Prasad, Kuldeep and Kanta, all residents of Gangaram colony.

They alleged property dealers —Gopal Krishan, a resident of Haribagh colony; Jaibhagwan and Sachin of Gangaram colony — made full arrangements to pay for the plots already sold to several buyers.

Amit Kumar, SHO, “Three property dealers have been booked for fraud and cheating. The matter is under investigation and accused would be arrested soon.”
