Sonepat, September 20
The Indian National Lok Dal’s Sadbhavna rally to be held in Karnal on September 25 would be attended by several regional leaders, including Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah and Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav. This was stated by Leader of the Opposition Abhay Chautala at a press conference here today. He said CM Manohar Lal Khattar would also be invited to participate in the rally.
Abhay alleged the BJP had forgotten its poll promises its ministers were making false statements to misguide people of the state. He also demanded an unconditional apology from the CM on his remark over the Mewat rape incident.
He also pointed towards difference of opinion among various BJP leaders over the Jat reservation issue.
Abhay was accompanied by party’s district president Padam Singh Dahiya and several others.
