Dr. Dinesh Kumar, a Ph.D Scholar of Department of Livestock Products Technology (LPT) of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, has bagged Commonwealth Split-site Scholarship 2018. The scholarship is funded by the UK government, through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. Dinesh Kumar will carry out a part of his Ph.D research work with Prof Graham Bonwick, New Castle University, UK. The work pertains to development of nanoencapsulated bioactive agents and their incorporation in biodegrabale films for extension of storage stability of meat products.
