Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has stated that the Congress has always been in a denial mode over historic religious facts pertaining to India even though these have been scientifically acknowledged and universally acclaimed.

“The Congress leaders have been making adverse comments on the Holy Gita and Gita Jayanti, apart from the Saraswati river. They should think before making such statements,” the chief minister said while talking to reporters here on Wednesday.

Khattar said while the BJP government was trying to inculcate good values amongst the people and make them ‘sanskarwan’, it seemed that the Congress leaders had no such inclination.

“Even the US space agency NASA has confirmed the existence of Shri Ram Setu, but the Congress leaders are still in a denial mode over this,” he maintained.

Replying to a question, the chief minister asserted that RP Group and several other groups of Dubai had evinced keen interest in making investments in Haryana and the state authorities were discussing some big projects with them.

“Apart from establishing a logistic hub at Narnaul and promoting industrialisation in Gurugram, the Haryana Government has prepared a plan to develop 7-8 industrial clusters along the KMP Expressway to attract investments for the state,” he revealed.

On being asked about the accomplishments of his government, Khattar stated that they had ensured full transparency in the provision of jobs to the state youths.

Besides, the government had introduced e-governance, e-stamping and digitisation concepts to streamline the state administration, he added.

The chief minister inspected the progress on the elevated road project and stated that it would not only resolve the traffic problem of Rohtak town to a great extent but also add to its beauty.

Minister of State for Cooperatives Manish Grover informed the chief minister that almost 60 per cent work on the elevated road had been completed and it would be commissioned by May, 2018.
