GURUGRAM: A 25-year-old resident of Pachgaon in Manesar has been arrested on the charge of raping his 12-year-old sister-in-law who was on a visit to his house.

A 25-year-old resident of Pachgaon in Manesar has been arrested on the charge of raping his 12-year-old sister-in-law who was on a visit to his house.

A noodle cart owner, the accused reportedly raped the Class V student and warned her not to reveal the incident to anybody.

She sneaked out on Friday and called up her mother, a resident of Gurugram, who went to Pachgaon and took her to the police.

According to police, the victim and her brother had gone to her sister’s house in Manesar for a few days. They used to sleep in the same room.

On Wednesday night, her brother-in-law allegedly gagged and raped her. He allegedly kept her in confinement for nearly two days. She called up her mother, who approached the women police station.

A case was registered and the accused arrested from Manesar. The victim was taken for medical examination and her statement was recorded.
