Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday targeted the Congress, INLD and other parties over corruption, nepotism and dynastic politics and said there was no scope of such ills in the BJP. He appealed to the people to vote in support of BJP candidate Krishan Lal Panwar from Israna constituency and assured that he would make him Cabinet Minister again.

Khattar was addressing Jan Ashirwaad Rally at Balana village in Israna constituency. He said the election campaign of the BJP was going on at full swing and hundreds of people were supporting the party while the Opposition was nowhere to be seen.

Without naming any opposition party, the Chief Minister said corruption was at its peak during the previous government’s term. “They filled their houses, after that their relatives’ houses, but the BJP has a family of 2.5 crore people,” he said.

“The system in the state was found corrupt when we formed the government in 2014 but we have corrected the system with the help of technology and got rid of commission agents in the last five years,” Khattar claimed.

He said the BJP had ended the JJJ system (one J stands for Jila (district), second for Jaati (caste) and the third for Jhola (bag full of notes) of the previous governments.

“We have used another J to end the corrupt system by throwing the three Js into Johar (pond) and launched ‘Mission Merit’ to provide jobs to youth on the basis of merit,” Khattar said.
