CM’s nod for six nursing colleges

CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved construction of six nursing colleges at a cost Rs 194.3 crore in various districts of the state. The colleges will be constructed in 15 months.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved construction of six nursing colleges at a cost Rs 194.3 crore in various districts of the state. The colleges will be constructed in 15 months.

Giving details, an official spokesman said two nursing colleges would be constructed in Faridabad (Dayalpur and Aura) and one each in Rewari (Sadat Nagar), Kaithal (Dherdu), Kurukshetra (Kheri Ram Nagar) and Panchkula (Kherawali) districts.

He said the land for setting up these colleges had already been leased out to the Department of Medical Education and Research. He said the concept plan for each nursing institute had been prepared and approved.
