PANCHKULA: The CBI and the defence counsel presented their arguments over chargesheets filed in the illegal allotment of land to Associated Journals Limited (AJL) and the Manesar land scam that came up for hearing in the special CBI court here on Tuesday.

The CBI and the defence counsel presented their arguments over chargesheets filed in the illegal allotment of land to Associated Journals Limited (AJL) and the Manesar land scam that came up for hearing in the special CBI court here on Tuesday.

Defence counsel SPS Parmar said the court had fixed August 6 as the next date of hearing in the AJL case.

As for the Manesar land scam case, it will come up for hearing on July 26. In both cases, former CMBhupinder Singh Hooda is the main accused. He, along with 33 other accused in the Manesar case, was present in the court. — TNS
