Youth found dead, murder suspected

Faridabad, July 21

A 21-year-old youth was found dead near Malerna village in Ballabgarh on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as Krishan of Sector 64 here.

Police sources said the body, bearing injury marks, was lying on a ‘kutcha’ road near a bridge. It was noticed by a passerby, who informed the police. A two-wheeler with a helmet was parked nearby.

It was being suspected that the youth was murdered and the body later dumped at the spot. The police registered a case in this connection.

The police sent the body to the civil hospital for postmortem examination. The cause of death would be ascertained after receipt of the report, said a police spokesperson.

This was the 43rd case of murder reported in the district this year and the second such incident in the past three days.
