Yamunanagar: Under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan, the authorities of Municipal Corporation (MC) planted 2,000 saplings on an eight-acre MC land in Darwa village close to the dairy complex on Monday. Deputy Commissioner-cum-Commissioner of MC, Mukul Kumar, Mayor Madan Chauhan, Jagadhri SDM Pooja Chawariya and Divisional Forest Officer Surajbhan planted saplings of mango and ‘jamun’ on the occasion.
