Panipat, April 20
The body of rice exporter Rohit Garg was on Saturday fished out from Delhi Parallel canal around 10 km away from the Khubru head in Gannaur of Sonepat district.
The 45-year-old rice exporter was missing from Wednesday night.
The police were suspecting that he along with a woman had jumped into the Delhi Parallel canal here. His Mercedes car was found parked near the canal.
DSP, Panipat, along with a police team reached the spot. The divers' teams are still searching for the woman in the canal.
