MAHENDRAGARH: Punjab Cabinet Minister Vijay Inder Singla on Monday addressed a poll meeting at the new grain market in Narnaul, seeking votes for Congress candidate Rao Narendra.

Punjab Cabinet Minister Vijay Inder Singla on Monday addressed a poll meeting at the new grain market in Narnaul, seeking votes for Congress candidate Rao Narendra.

Addressing the gathering, Singla termed the BJP government a “jumla” and called upon the people to bring the Congress back to power.

Castigating the state government, he said the Congress government lifted every grain from the mandis during its tenure and took several measures for at the welfare of farmers and business community “The condition of farmers has reached its ebb during BJP’s misrule.”

The Congress national spokesperson further said Rao Narinder, during his stint as the Health Minister of the state, had built super-specialty hospitals.

On the economic front, the Punjab minister said, “Haryana is reeling under economic mess, which is a making of the BJP government. On the contrary the previous Congress Government, even at the time of recession, didn’t lag behind on the development index.”
