YMCA varsity staff to donate day’s salary

FARIDABAD: The staff of YMCA University of Science and Technology here will contribute one day’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to provide aid for relief to flood victims in Kerala.



Faridabad, August 20

The staff of YMCA University of Science and Technology here will contribute one day’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to provide aid for relief to flood victims in Kerala.

Jitender Singh, public relations officer, said the teaching and non-teaching staff had decided to donate one day’s salary in response to Vice-Chancellor Dinesh Kumar’s appeal.

The VC appreciated their concern and support. The amount of Rs 6 lakh would be donated through cheque to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. — TNS
