2 killed, 2 injured in Mandi road accident

Mandi, September 20

Two persons were killed, while two others sustained injuries, when the car they were traveling in fell into a deep gorge near Langara village in Mandi district on Thursday night.

According to police, the accident occurred at an isolated place and the mangled remains of the car were spotted by a passerby in the morning. Police say that the two people had died on the spot. The injured have been shifted to Jogindernagar hospital.

DSP Padhar Madankant Sharma said that one driving licence was found in the name of Shani Kumar (25). The identification process is on, according to police.
