Heavy rain in Dharamsala caused landslide on the trekking path to Bhagsu waterfall, wounding eight tourists, sources said on Saturday.

The sources identified the wounded as Una couple Usha Devi and Jagpal and their three minor children, including an 8-month-old child, whose condition is reported as serious. The landslide occurred while they were on their way back from the waterfall.

Local hoteliers and shopkeepers moved them to Dharamsala Zonal Hospital, which sent them to Tanda Medical College.

The area has been seeing heavy rain for the past few days.  Another landslide blocked the Khara Danda road on Friday.
