Rs23 lakh for helipad at Bharmani temple

For the convenience of Manimahesh pilgrims, a sum of Rs 23 lakh has been earmarked for the construction of a helipad at Bharmani Mata temple near Bharmour tribal township.

This was stated by Bharmour MLA Jia Lal Kapoor while presiding over a meeting of the project advisory committee at Bharmour on Tuesday. He said that Rs 42.35 crore was being spent on the development of Bharmour tribal area during the current fiscal year.

The MLA said Rs1.50 crore had been earmarked for the channelisation of Bharmani nallah and the beautification around the Bharmani Mata temple. — TNS
