MANDI: Fresh snowfall crippled normal life in tribal district Lahaul Spiti. Due to fresh snowfall, the temperature has plummeted drastically, especially in night hours.

Fresh snowfall crippled normal life in tribal district Lahaul Spiti.

Due to fresh snowfall, the temperature has plummeted drastically, especially in night hours.

Ever since the first spell of snowfall in Lahaul traffic movement has come to a standstill.

The Border Roads Organization personnel have restored some internal road links for traffic movement in the valley.

BRO Commander AK Awasthi said, “Our machinery and workforce are engaged in snow clearance operation in the valley. The road between Sissu and Darcha has been restored, while the work is going on to connect the Thirot valley.”
