MANALI: Hundreds of tourists visiting the tourist town on Sunday made a beeline to the Rohtang Pass to enjoy snow and a magnificent view of snow-covered peaks.

MANALI, MAY 20

Hundreds of tourists visiting the tourist town on Sunday made a beeline to the Rohtang Pass to enjoy snow and a magnificent view of snow-covered peaks.

The pass, which is popularly known as snow-point, attracts a large numbers of tourists. Most of the tourists, who visit Kullu-Manali, go to Rohtang to enjoy snow.

With the mercury rising in the plains, Manali has started witnessing a reasonably good number of tourists from all over the country. A large numbers of adventure lovers are also visiting Kullu- Manali.

SDM, Manali, Raman Gharsangi, said the basic facilities like parking, eco-friendly toilets, drinking water and proper garbage collection had been provided at the pass. He further added that the traffic police had been deployed at different points to ensure safety and smooth moment of tourist vehicles on the Rohtang road.
