Jammu: The State Institute of Education (SIE) has postponed the Class VIII and IX exams, which were scheduled for February 18. The decision to postpone the exams was taken by the SIE on Sunday evening, keeping in view the prevailing situation in the wake of curfew.

Principal, SIE, JK Sudan said: “Earlier, we had postponed the exams in Jammu district only, which were scheduled for Monday, but now we have decided to postpone the exams of all districts in the province.” “There is no change in the date sheet for the remaining papers,” Sudan said. Meanwhile, the schools in all districts of Jammu division will remain closed on February 18 and 19. tns
