Kashmiri scholars take part in Sanskrit conference

JAMMU: Two scholars from Kashmir, Dr Advaitavadini Kaul and Dr Mrinal Kaul, are part of the Indian delegation at the 17th World Sanskrit Conference being held at Vancouver in Canada from July 8 to 13.

Two scholars from Kashmir, Dr Advaitavadini Kaul and Dr Mrinal Kaul, are part of the Indian delegation at the 17th World Sanskrit Conference being held at Vancouver in Canada from July 8 to 13. At the conference, more than 500 scholars and delegates from over 40 countries are participating.The conference was inaugurated by Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar on July 8.

At present, Dr Advaitavadini is an Associate Professor and Editor-In-Chief of KalaKosa at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) in New Delhi and Prof Mrinal Kaul is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Centre for Religious Studies at Manipal University. — TNS
