Policeman injured in accidental firing in Kulgam dies

SRINAGAR: One of the two policemen injured in accidental firing in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir last week has succumbed to injuries at a hospital here on Monday, police said.

One of the two policemen injured in accidental firing in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir last week has succumbed to injuries at a hospital here on Monday, police said.

Constable Fayaz Ahmad Ganai succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Hospital Soura on Monday morning, a police official said.

Ganai and his colleague Zaheer Abbas were injured when the service rifle of a cop went off accidentally at Kulgam police station on December 4. PTI
