9-yr-old girl from Delhi pens book

Nine-year-old Niharika has written a novel ‘The Secret Pink Rose’. The book was recently released at an exhibition in Jalandhar. The little girl, who belongs to Delhi, used to visit her maternal and paternal grandparents during her holidays, where she would write some short stories using her imagination. This is how she started writing.

Niharika now aspires to write another novel too. Her parents Munish Chopra and Parul Chopra, who are engineer by profession, said when she was just four-year-old, she used to make stories out of picture books. “She is a voracious reader and loves to pen down her imagination during free time. During her summer vacation, she started writing a story. Within a span of one-and-a-half month, she came up with the beautiful novelette,” the parents added.

The novel is based on the story of a princess named Rosepink and her journey into the world of magic and mysteries. The book is being widely appreciated and is already available on Amazon, Flipkart and Shopclues.

Her grandfather SN Batra said on the day of book release as children were coming to her to get themselves clicked with her and they were also taking her autographs.

“She loves to do theatre and is an actor too, and now that her book has got released, she wants to be a writer,” told her grandfather.
