Elderly lays stone of Jaijon-Maili road-widening project

CHABBEWAL: Dr Raj Kumar, MLA, Cabbewal got the inauguration and laying of foundation stone done by an elderly person of Maili, Hans Raj, for the much-waited repair and widening of Jaijon-Maili road that connects the Sai Ghulab Shah Dera.

Dr Raj Kumar, MLA, Cabbewal got the inauguration and laying of foundation stone done by an elderly person of Maili, Hans Raj, for the much-waited repair and widening of Jaijon-Maili road that connects the Sai Ghulab Shah Dera.

While addressing the people gathered for the inaugurating of the much-awaited repair and widening of Jaijon-Maili, he informed that under NABARD XXIV the 12-km road would be widened from 10 ft to 18 ft. It would help commutation of all especially benefiting the devotees of the ‘Dera’.

Dr Raj said earlier the road was made during the Congress Government. Funds of 60 crore for the roads of Chabbewal had been received and this would change the outlook of constituency as well as facilitate the travelers.

He said at some villages roads were getting damage due to water clogging on roads because of improper drainage system. Panchayats should meet him or concerned BDPO to sort-out the matter to have good roads built in their villages. — OC
