Jalandhar, December 16

A first-of-its-kind of car rally for city women was held here on Sunday. The rally started from the market near PIMS and concluded at AGI Urbana on the 66 Feet road. 

Women in large numbers were present on the occasion. Pro-chancellor of LPU Rashmi Mittal and social activist Shruti Shukla were the chief guests of the rally.

ADCP D Sudarvizhi, social activists Parveen Abrol, Dr Sushma Chawla, Seema Soni, Sonia Virdi, Bhawna Pushkar Sandal and Dr Johal were present on the occasion. 

The participants appreciated Seema Jaggi of Mummaplease, an NGO, for making efforts for brining so many women on the same platform. She was also encouraged to keep up with the initiative.
