Foreign education consultant faces protest

Jalandhar, February 20

A foreign education consultant company office at Kartarpur here today faced a protest by people who had allegedly given the office lakhs of rupees for their migration to Canada.

The owner of the company said the agent to whom he had given the money of the customers had fled from the office. This information caused a lot of uproar among the people, leading to the protest.

The police said they had taken up the matter. The victims will register a formal complaint tomorrow, following which the police will initiate action. — TNS
