Thieves strike at 2 shops, steal mobiles worth lakhs

JALANDHAR: A gang of thieves stole mobile phones worth lakhs from two shops in the city today.

A gang of thieves stole mobile phones worth lakhs from two shops in the city today. The gang struck at ABC Showroom in the Model Town area first. Later, it stole phones from the Aggarwal showroom in the same lane at around 6 am.

Police officials said both incidents were recorded in the CCTV cameras installed in nearby shops. In the footage, six people, including two women, were seen breaking the lock of a showroom and taking away the mobile phones. Later, the same gang struck at the other shop and took away mobiles worth lakhs. The police have lodged an FIR in the case and begun the hunt for the six accused.
