Kotkapura youth found dead in Canada

20 days after a 23-year-old Kotkapura youth studying in Canada went missing, his body was found in a secluded house in Surrey city, British Columbia, Canada.

For the last about two weeks, the family members of Roxy Chawla of Kotkapura, who had went to Canada on study visa last year, were trying to know his whereabouts until they got a phone call from the Canada police officials here on Thursday telling them about the recovery of Roxy’s body from a house under mysterious circumstances.

The Canada police officials conveyed to us that poisoning had emerged as the suspected cause of death in the autopsy of the deceased, said Bhagwan Dass Chawla, father of Roxy. “I have already spent most of my savings to send Roxy on study visa. My son had no rivalry or enemy,” said Bhagwan Dass. — TNS
