Greet The Sholay Girl

ZEE5 Originals unveiled the poster of the much-awaited web series titled The Sholay Girl recently. The poster also revealed that the film would start being streamed exclusive on the ZEE5 platform from March 8 onwards. And now the makers have revealed the official trailer of The Sholay Girl. Based on the true life of Bollywood’s first stunt-woman, the film takes you through the life chronicles of Reshma Pathan, who posed as superstar Hema Malini in several films. Starring Bidita Bag, the film is scheduled to premiere on International Women’s Day as a tribute to immense power of a woman.

In the trailer, Bidita is seen posing as Hema Malini’s body double Reshma Pathan, described as ‘Bollywood’s first stuntwoman’. The trailer of the film starts with Hema Malini on her famous tonga from Sholay, and it looks like this is going to be a fun ride, following the stunt-woman’s various adventures with Hema’s iconic roles in Bollywood. The video also gives a few glimpses into the childhood and family background of Reshma.
