Mandi Ahmedgarh, February 7
The administration has intiated process related to the 2019 General Elections. Ahmedgarh SDM Dr Poonam Preet Kaur said officials from Amargarh Assembly segment were advised to ensure that preparations for conducting the Lok Sabha polls should be completed within stipulated period.
Besides, elaborating on various aspects of the election process, a team of experts gave tips regarding functioning of voter verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT) and electronic voting machine (EVM) to block level officers (BLOs).
“We have advised the BLOs to ensure that voters, including office-bearers and activists of various political outfits receive first hand information regarding functioning of gadgets related to the polling,” said the SDM. — OC
