DAV shuttlers finish as runners-up

LUDHIANA: Students from DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, bagged a silver medal in badminton championship held at DAV School, Bariatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Ludhiana, December 18

Students from DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, bagged a silver medal in badminton championship held at DAV School, Bariatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Three students from the school, including Aditya Grover, Aryan Gupta and Rajat Budhiraja represented their zone in which participants from 16 DAV schools from all over the country vied for top honours.

The trio gave an excellent performance to reach the finals and went down fighting to content with the runners-up trophy.

They were given a rousing reception on reaching the school on Tuesday. Principal Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu led the school faculty to receive the students. She appreciated the efforts of the players and their coaches on bringing fame to the school.
