FMAI delegates leave for Taiwan to attend fastener expo

LUDHIANA: Delegates of Fastener Manufacturers Association of India (FMAI) left for Taiwan on Monday to attend Taiwan Fastener Expo -2018.

Delegates of Fastener Manufacturers Association of India (FMAI) left for Taiwan on Monday to attend Taiwan Fastener Expo -2018. The three-day long expo will be held in Kaohsiung from April 10 to April 12. A nut former and bolt maker company Chun Zu has arranged the visit of the FMAI delegates to their plant.

The delegates, who will attend the expo, include Vikramjeet Bhamra, Atul Sethi, Rajneesh Dhiman, Harpreet Singh, Baljeet Singh, Pankaj Aggarwal, Madhur Aggarwal, Amrik Singh, Mukesh Sahni, Nirmal Aggarwal, Sandeep Garg, Jaswinder Singh, Dilbag Singh, Harjot Singh and Upkar Singh. They will reach Kaohsiung on April 9.

According to the FMAI president, Narinder Bhamra, the visit to Taiwan Fastener Show would help members modernise in line with international standards. Vikramjeet Bhamra and Atul Sethi have been assigned responsibility to meet SANYO officials to procure latest heat treatment and automatic plating plant for the FMAI.

“At present, when the industry is facing labour shortage and steel prices are going up , it is the need of the hour to install latest technology for competitive edge,” said Bhamra. — TNS
