Medical store owner held with banned drugs

RAIKOT:The city police have arrested owner of a medical store, who was involved in stocking and selling of habit forming drugs, without prescription or keeping requisite records.

The city police have arrested owner of a medical store, who was involved in stocking and selling of habit forming drugs, without prescription or keeping requisite records.

As many as 3,675 banned tablets were seized from the shop owned by him in the city. 

The suspect has been identified as Suraj Bhan Jain, alias Kaka.

Giving more information Deputy Superintendent of Police Gurmit Singh Tejey said cops led by the city SHO, Amarjit Singh Gogi, nabbed Kaka when he was going to deliver a consignment of banned tablets to his clients. 

Drug inspectors Ravi Gupta and Sandeep Kaushik accompanied cops during search of the premises of the suspect situated in the city.
