KHAMANO: The 71st Independence Day was celebrated at the Khamano Grain Market with fervour.

The 71st Independence Day was celebrated at the Khamano Grain Market with fervour.

Khamano SDM Isha Singal was the chief guest. She unfurled the national flag. Students from different schools presented cultural items on the occasion. Freedom fighters of the area were honoured and the needy women were given sewing machines at the end of function.

Civil Judge Himanshu Galhotra, Tehsildar Harphool Singh Gill, Khamano DSP Gurmeet Singh, Station House Officer Birbal Singh and other officials concerned from various departments were present.
