Pakhowal Soccer Club emerge winner

MANDI AHMEDGARH: Pakhowal Soccer Club and Football Club, Dangon, emerged winners and runners-up, respectively, in the eighth One Village Open Football Tournament, organised by Ahmedgarh Sports Club and Welfare Society at Anand Isher Public Senior Secondary School at Chhapar Road here.

Mandi Ahmedgarh, March 18

Pakhowal Soccer Club and Football Club, Dangon, emerged winners and runners-up, respectively, in the eighth One Village Open Football Tournament, organised by Ahmedgarh Sports Club and Welfare Society at Anand Isher Public Senior Secondary School at Chhapar Road here.

Jaggie of Pakhowal Club was adjudged the best player of the tournament.

The event was inaugurated by school director Kartar Singh and Jatinder Sharma Happy chaired the inaugural function.

Municipal Council president Suraaj Mohammad, former legislator Iqbal Singh Jhoondan, former president Ravinder Puri and PA to legislator Surjit Dhiman presided over various sessions.
