Man duped by OLX app seller

LUDHIANA: A resident has been duped of Rs 44,000 on the pretext of selling a mobile phone through the OLX app. Rahul Kumar, a resident of Islam Ganj, said he had struck a deal to buy a mobile phone on the OLX app with Krishan Tiwari, who claimed himself a resident of Army Camp.

A resident has been duped of Rs 44,000 on the pretext of selling a mobile phone through the OLX app. Rahul Kumar, a resident of Islam Ganj, said he had struck a deal to buy a mobile phone on the OLX app with Krishan Tiwari, who claimed himself a resident of Army Camp. He agreed to sell his iPhone for Rs 44,000. He told Rahul to send money through Paytm. But after getting money, he stopped taking his calls. The police said investigation was on to identify the seller. TNS
