Two-day conference on orthopaedics at DMCH

LUDHIANA: The Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is organising a two-day Punjab Orthopaedics Annual Conference (POACON-2019) on October 19 and October 20.

The Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is organising a two-day Punjab Orthopaedics Annual Conference (POACON-2019) on October 19 and October 20. The conference is being organised by the Department of Orthopaedics and will be held at the auditorium of DMC College Campus.

The chief guest on the occasion will be eminent Orthopaedic Surgeon and VC of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Dr Raj Bahadur.

Secretary of the DMCH Managing Society Prem Kumar Gupta said the DMCH had always been on the forefront in conducting such CMEs and conferences to update the academic and practical knowledge of budding doctors and surgeons.

Dr Rajnish Garg, Professor and Head of Orthopaedics, said the conference would be focusing on sports medicine, joint replacement and trauma.
