Ludhiana: Students of the Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) and the Khalsa College for Women had a date with taste and health on their respective campuses. Amit Porwal, pastry chef at The Chocolate Box and Lounge, MBD Neopolis Mall, was the resource person for the day. He said the sessions were part of a series of workshops to be organised in August to educate young students of the city. He apprised students with the art of preparing sprout salad, shakes and a few other bakery items. Arvind Gupta, director of INIFD, said: “Food styling is another profession that is in trend and students are keen to learn about it.”

Students of Science College have secured university positions in MSc (Chemistry) Sem-IV examinations. Simranpreet Kaur Wahan secured second position in the university while Sandeep Kaur of MSc (Botany) Semester-II bagged eighth position in the university with 809/1000 marks.
