The Central Bureau of Investigation conducted raids at former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi’s residence at 7 Circular Road on Tuesday in connection with illegal land acquisition involving her jailed husband, former union minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
CBI investigators questioned both Rabri Devi and Leader of Opposition Tejaswi Yadav, son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Yadav is accused of illegally acquiring land for railway hotels in Jharkhand between 2004 and 2005 while he was railway minister.
Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently in jail undergoing prison sentences for fodder corruption scandals.
Tejaswi Yadav accuses rivals JD (U) and the BJP of implicating his family in the case.
