Just two months after his wife and daughter committed suicide, ex-Director General of Ministry of Corporate Affairs BK Bansal and his son Yogesh Bansal allegedly committed suicide today. Their bodies were found hanging in different rooms in the same flat in Neelkanth Apartments at Madhu Vihar in East Delhi, the police said.

Bansal was allegedly accused in a bribery case and was arrested by the CBI.

According to the police, the incident came to light this morning when the domestic help discovered the dead bodies and made a call to the police control room.

The police said a suicide note was recovered from the spot. It said the CBI raid had caused “great humiliation” and they did not want to live after that. They also mentioned that they did not hold anyone responsible for their death. Source said that the suicide note had been sent to the CBI.
